《Gaodalai》is a grand song and dance production rich in Hainan’s unique ethnic character, jointly created by the Yetian Ancient Village Scenic Area and the Hainan Provincial Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe. Through the medium of stage art, it vividly portrays the traditional production methods, daily life, and local customs of the Li and Miao peoples.
*Gaodalai* offers a concentrated showcase of Hainan’s indigenous songs, dances, and music, encompassing various facets of the island’s folk culture and musical heritage. From the performers' costumes, lighting, and stage scenery to the display of ethnic musical instruments, the production clearly demonstrates the exceptional performance capabilities of the Provincial Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, offering a highly captivating visual experience.
The program brings together a collection of outstanding song and dance performances. Featuring traditional Li dances, authentic folk songs, and distinctive instrumental solos, the production seamlessly integrates Hainan’s intangible cultural heritage—such as Li brocade, bamboo and wood instruments, and the "Bamboo Pole Dance"—into the performances. By distilling the very essence of Li and Miao song and dance artistry, the show allows the audience to deeply appreciate the long and profound historical and cultural legacy of Hainan.
The magnificent interplay of stage lighting and visual effects fully reflects the professional expertise of the lighting designers and their masterful utilization of stage fixtures. The stage lighting and visual design for this event were conceived and executed by the design team at Xingbo Group. Tailored specifically to the requirements of the grand *Gaodalai* production, the design incorporated a total of over 200 lighting fixtures from the Xingbo brand. A particular highlight of this production was the deployment of Xingbo’s 700W 4-in-1 Profile Moving Head Lights, which served as the centerpiece of the stage lighting design. With their flexible and dynamic framing effects, sharp and crisp beams, mesmerizing animation wheels capable of simulating the movement of fire and water, advanced CMY+CTO color mixing systems, and powerful functionality, these fixtures delivered an unparalleled and breathtaking visual spectacle for *Gaodalai*, creating a truly perfect feast of light and shadow artistry for the audience.
